Kevin Lister joined the SIU Foundation in January of 1997 as the Director of Annual Giving. He served in that role for nine years during which he worked with 687 students and raised close to $8 million in pledges for SIU. In January of 2006 he became a Central Development Officer for the Foundation. In this newly-created position, he was assigned special projects and charged with building relationships on a regional basis. He served in this position until August of 2010, when he assumed his current role of Constitutent Development Officer for the College of Applied Sciences and Arts. In this position, Kevin is responsible for developing and executing fundraising initiatives for the College.
Kevin came to SIU after serving the Southern Illinois region of the American Cancer Society for six years. In addition to his professional duties he serves as a volunteer for the Carbondale Kiwanis and the Children’s Miracle Network. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration & economics from Illinois College and a MBA from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. In addition, he has achieved CFRE certification and completed the CFRM program from the Indiana University of Philanthropy. |
