Elizabeth Banycky was hired as Assistant Controller for the SIU Foundation in 1987. She became the Treasurer in 1996.
In 1984, Banycky earned a dual bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from SIU. A certified public accountant since 1991, she is the principal financial officer of the SIU Foundation.Banycky also serves as a member of the CASE Institutionally Related Foundation National Committee.
