The 2nd Annual Saluki Takeover Tour Southern Illinois continues in Chester, home of Popeye the Sailor Man and rich in Mississippi River history. This stop invites alumni, students, and friends to gather at St. Nicholas Landmark, a beautifully restored historic building that now serves as a brewery and restaurant offering a unique mix of old-world charm and modern hospitality. This location will open for this one, special evening!

A Historic Venue with a Modern Twist

Built in 1830, the St. Nicholas Landmark has been a part of Chester’s rich history for nearly 200 years. After undergoing extensive renovations, the building was reopened in 2018 by St. Nicholas Brewing Co., transforming it into a destination for craft beer enthusiasts, history buffs, and food lovers alike.

With original stonework flooring, exposed brick walls, and breathtaking views of the Mississippi River, this venue serves as the perfect setting for a night of Saluki pride and connection.
