The 2nd Annual Saluki Takeover Tour Southern Illinois concludes in Murphysboro, where alumni, students, and friends will gather at Faye, a one-of-a-kind destination coffee shop, restaurant, and gourmet gift shop created by the award-winning team behind 17th Street BBQ. This stop on the tour offers a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for networking, reminiscing, and celebrating SIU’s impact on the region.

As a place known for incredible hospitality, handcrafted drinks, and thoughtfully curated goods, Faye provides a relaxed yet refined setting for alumni and supporters to connect while enjoying a uniquely Southern Illinois experience.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Murphysboro

Named after Faye Mills, the late mother of 17th Street BBQ’s Amy Mills, Faye was created to honor a legacy of hospitality, warmth, and great food. This beautifully designed space combines the charm of a coffee shop with the comfort of a gourmet eatery and the curiosity of a specialty boutique. Guests can enjoy a carefully crafted menu, locally roasted coffee, and a selection of unique gifts and home goods in a space designed to bring people together.
