Jason Fairfield | SIU Foundation | SIU

Jason Fairfield joined the SIU Foundation as director of development for corporate relations in August 2019. He previously served as the chief revenue officer for Saluki Athletics. During Jason’s tenure, athletic endowed scholarships increased by 77 percent, and SIU entered into the first corporate naming rights agreement for the Banterra Center worth up to $10 million over the next 20 years. It is the largest corporate naming rights agreement in university history.

Before his return to SIU, Jason worked in athletic fundraising at Illinois State University, Bradley University and was a collegiate football coach for 10 years. Jason earned both his bachelor’s ’97 and master’s ’09 degrees from Southern. Jason and his wife, Anne (’99 and ’05), have a son, Drew, and reside in Carbondale.
