Jeff Gleim | SIU Foundation | SIU

Jeff Gleim is currently the associate vice chancellor for development & alumni relations at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and chief operations officer for the SIU Foundation.

He previously served as the executive director of the SIU Alumni Association at Southern Illinois University Carbondale for the past three years.

Prior to his arrival at SIU in 2019, Gleim held alumni relations positions at the University of Pittsburgh, serving the Pitt Alumni Association as associate vice chancellor and executive director, and at The Ohio State University Alumni Association, holding positions as director of alumni clubs and director of alumni advocacy.

Gleim has a bachelor’s degree in political science from The Ohio State University and held administrative positions in the Ohio House of Representatives before joining Ohio State’s alumni relations staff. He has served on the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s Commission on Alumni Relations and as a member of the Council for Alumni Association Executives.

Jeff and his wife, Michelle, have two children, Todd and Tyler, daughter-in-law, Maria, grandchildren Griffin and Alli.
