Krystal Hudson | SIU Foundation | SIU

Krystal Hudson serves as the Assistant Director of Development for the College of Engineering, Computing, Technology, and Mathematics at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. In this role, she partners with alumni, donors, and community supporters to advance the college’s mission, enhance student opportunities, and strengthen philanthropic engagement.

Originally from Chicago, Krystal has called Carbondale home for nearly twenty years. She brings a strong background in higher education and enrollment management, with extensive experience in student engagement, event coordination, and relationship development. She is passionate about building connections that create meaningful impact for both students and the broader community.

Krystal is a proud mother to her 14-year-old son, who inspires her daily. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new foods and cultures, hiking, and discovering hidden gems throughout Southern Illinois and beyond.
