Lisa Knight

Lisa Knight joined the SIU Foundation as director of development for the College of Arts and Media in March 2019. She oversees major gift fundraising for the college and serves as a regional representative for the West Coast.
Before joining the SIU Foundation as a development officer, Lisa served for five years, as the administrative aide to the associate vice chancellor for Development and Alumni Relations. She was also an adviser for the Financial Aid Office at SIU. Lisa was also a human resources executive with Target for nearly eight years before returning to school to further her education. While at SIU, she has served on various committees on campus, and in her free time, as a volunteer staff member with the Miss Illinois America Scholarship Pageant each June.
Lisa is a two-degree SIU alumna from the College of Education and Human Services, with both a bachelor’s degree (’06) and master’s degree (’08) in workforce education and development, with an emphasis in human resources. She is a longtime native of Southern Illinois and attended high school in Marion.
Whenever she gets a chance, she enjoys going to thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets and estate sales with her family on the weekends.
