Michelle Snyder | SIU Foundation | SIU

Michelle Snyder joined the SIU Foundation as Assistant Director of Development for the College of Arts & Media, where she plays a role in advancing fundraising efforts for the college.

Previously, Michelle served in various capacities at SIU, initially in the Office of University Risk Management, and later returning to pursue her master's degree. She holds both bachelor's and master's degrees from SIU Carbondale, specializing in Workforce Education & Development and Public Health, respectively.

Before her current role, Michelle served as Program Director at the Southern Illinois Community Foundation, overseeing initiatives such as the NonProfit Network, GiveSI, and the Southern Illinois Leadership Institute.

A lifelong resident of southern Illinois, Michelle resides in Carbondale with her husband, also an SIU graduate, and their two daughters—one of whom proudly follows the Saluki tradition.
