Sara Bond serves as Senior Director of Development for the SIU Foundation, bringing more than 25 years of experience in leadership and fundraising across higher education, nonprofit, banking, and for-profit sectors. She is known for building trusted relationships and securing philanthropic support that advances meaningful, mission-driven work.

Sara has led successful fundraising initiatives and has been recognized nationally and statewide for her commitment to advocacy and community service. She believes deeply in the role Southern Illinois University plays in expanding opportunity, strengthening the region, and changing lives through education.
