The SIU Foundation office will be closed December 24, 2025 – January 2, 2026.

For those wishing to make a gift before the calendar year-end for tax purposes, refer to the giving deadlines listed below.

Online Gifts

Must be made online by midnight CST on December 31, 2025.

Credit Card Gifts (sent by mail)

Should be received no later than December 26, 2025.

Gifts by U.S. Postal Service (Cash/Check)

Must be postmarked on or before December 31 to be included in 2025, regardless of when they are received at the SIU Foundation office.

Gifts by courier (FedEx, UPS, etc.)

Must be accepted by the SIU Foundation no later than 12:00 p.m. CST on December 23, 2025.

Securities Gifts

Check with your broker for the deadline to initiate transfers to ensure receipt by the SIU Foundation for calendar year-end. Learn more about gifts of securities.

Wire Transfer Gifts

Must be received by the SIU Foundation on or before December 31, 2025.
